Wise Yoda! He's not going to listen to those with less insight, less wisdom, less data. He is going to trust that he already knows what he needs to know. In the end, he will bear the responsibility for his decisions and therefore will have to make those decisions himself, not letting others sway him. When all is said and done, “but they told me...” is no excuse at all. You have to make your own decisions, choose your own path and keep your own counsel. In order to make them happy, he attended medical school, then law school. His friend asks, “How do you feel now that you're a doctor and a lawyer?” “Exhausted!” he replies. You will not be happy fulfilling some other purpose, set by someone else. You will only be happy fulfilling your own purpose, achieving your own goals.
